Flex Unit Overview

Flex units provide pay-as-you-go access to Ready, making it easy to scale your team’s usage up or down as required. There is no monthly or annual commitment - simply purchase and use flex units as your team needs them.

How do flex units work?

One flex unit allows one user to access Ready for the day they log in, plus 30 days. Within this period, a user can log in and use Ready as often as they need to. Once the 30 day period has passed, a user’s next sign in to a workspace will consume another flex unit.

For example, Jason opens and signs into Ready on Aug 1. This consumes one flex unit. Jason continues to use Ready through the end of the month. When Jason next signs in on Sep 1, another flex unit will be consumed reducing the balance by 1.

How do I buy flex units?

Flex units can be purchased when you are first setting up your workspace, or at any point after that from the 'Licenses' tab within the Ready Admin Console.

Flex units purchased by credit card will appear in the Admin Console and be ready for use immediately. Flex units purchased via invoice will appear when we have processed your order.

How many flex units do I need?

When purchasing or topping up your available flex units, you will be asked to enter the number of flex units you require.

The number of flex units required can be calculated as X users multiplied by Y Months.

For example, a Workspace Owner requires his team of 10 users to be able to use Ready for 12 months, a total of 120 flex units are required overall.

It is not necessary to purchase all required flex units in one go, you could simply purchase half of the yearly required amount and top up as you require 6 months later.

How many flex units can I purchase in one transaction?

You can purchase up to 1,200 flex credits at a time. If you need more than that - please contact us using the 'Contact us' link provided.

How long do I have to use my flex units and do they roll over?

Flex units must be used within one year from when they are issued. Since this is a pay-as-you-go model, flex units do not roll over and are not refundable.

We ensure that older flex units are consumed first and notify you when you have flex units that are nearing their expiry date.

How will I know if I’m running low on flex units?

You will receive notifications when your workspace has a low flex unit balance. In the event that your balance reaches zero, you will be notified and will need to purchase additional flex units before any new logins are allowed.

How do I know who is consuming Flex Units in my workspace?

Available Flex Units is shown in the Admin Consoles Licensing page. There is a transaction log that provides full visibility of who is purchasing and using Flex Units as well as when they expire.
